Find a vet who will actually see your chicken
Lots of clinics won't see chickens. This free directory pulls together 160 veterinarians in 8 states that public state and university lists say see backyard poultry. Each listing shows the details owners ask about.

How our listings work
- Source on every listing. Each entry links to the public state or extension list it came from, with that list's date.
- Honest status. Every listing currently says "From public list, not yet confirmed." When we've read a clinic's own website, it gets a Website-checked Oct 21, 2026 badge with quotes and links to what the site says. When we phone a clinic, it gets a separate dated Phone-confirmed on [date] badge.
- The questions owners ask: sick visits or wellness only, new poultry clients, farm calls, after-hours, exam price, and whether they'll prescribe (needed since FDA's antibiotic rules; why). Fields we haven't checked show "unknown."
